AO Tennis was my favorite Tennis game to date on the Xbox One and when they announced that a sequel was in the works I was most definitely excited to see what it entailed. Well, here we are in mid-January and only a few short weeks from the launch of AO Tennis 2 and I have to say the game looks to be even better than the first one. The things that stand out the most to me when watching the launch trailer are the visuals and smoother gameplay mechanics. I thought the first one played well, but it definitely could have used a little more polish. That didn’t take away from it being a solid game.

Hopefully, we will receive stream/review code for the game soon as we move closer to the launch. I have several emails regarding the game and I’ll share some of those assets with you now including the Launch Trailer. Enjoy, and I hope to see you on the court in February. Lace up those sneakers now.

Stay tuned to and for early looks at the game once we have received code.

Enjoy some great screenshots of the game below.

AO Tennis 2 is the second game in the official Australia Open series. Developed side by side with the team at Tennis Australia, the game gives tennis fans an intense experience of the first of the year’s four Grand Slam events, which begins on January 20. In AO Tennis 2, players can take themselves from the outside courts to centre-stage glory in the all-new narrative-driven career mode, enriched with a reputation system, or choose to customise every element of their game through Big Ant’s celebrated content editor. In addition to putting themselves and their friends right into the game, users will be able to play in the shoes of dozens of the world’s biggest tennis stars, including Rafael Nadal, Ash Barty, Angélique Kerber and many more.
